Why and how does Eurocircuits support your Electronic Student Project?

Dear reader,

Eurocircuits is fully committed to helping and supporting European electronics students with their Electronic Student Project during their academic careers, after all they are the future of the European electronics industry.

Today, students can set up a specific legal entity to run their educational projects and are effectively being managed as real business. Eurocircuits seeks to form a WIN-WIN partnership with these entities by supplying the bare or assembled PCB’s for the project and purchasing advertisement from the Team.

How does it work in practice?

First the Team must establish a budget for the bare or assembled PCB’s they require for their project. This is can easily be done by using the Eurocircuits online calculator.

When the budget is established:

  • The Team sends this detailed budget to Patricia Vander Slaghmolen including a full description of the Teams’ project and ambitions. Upon receiving this email, she will call the team to discuss this budget (amount in Euro’s excluding VAT) and the details needed to create a partnership-agreement. Afterwards she will send an email containing this agreement and a form for the team to complete with all the details about the Teams’ legal entity and relevant contact details. Please return this as soon as possible.
  • At the same time the Team must setup a Eurocircuits customer account, ensuring that all the correct details of the teams’ legal entity are included along with details of all necessary contacts. Teams can also take over the customer account of their predecessors and adjust the contact details to the present situation.

The Team is then able to use its online Eurocircuits customer account like any other Eurocircuits customer. Using the Eurocircuits account, the Team processes their data through the online Visualizer tool ensuring that it meets the Eurocircuits manufacturing criteria. If the design meets the criteria then it can be checked out and ordered. When the PCB’s are received the invoices must be paid in a normal way.

To support the Team, Eurocircuits purchases advertisement and publicity to the value of the budget agreed. This amount cannot be higher than the total amount of PCB’s that have been bought by the Team and can also not be higher than the budget (amount in Euro excluding VAT)……

…… the story continues here.

Eurocircuits buys all its advertisement through its marketing agency S.M.A. NV. This means that invoices should be addressed to:

S.M.A. NV, Tennislaan 1, 2400 MOL, Belgium, at the attention of Dirk Stans.

The invoice should state:

  • VAT number BE 0473.094.338
  • Non Belgian, EU invoices should be without VAT and mention “Reverse charge service due to inner EU invoicing”
  • Non EU invoices should be without VAT
  • Subject: “Publicity for Eurocircuits in project [Name of the Teams Project]”

The minimum we ask for in exchange for our support is:

  • The Team writes two BLOGs in English throughout the year about the Teams project (technical) in cooperation with Eurocircuits and and the Teams adventure with their project (including pictures and/or videos). These will be published on the Eurocircuits websites.
  • Eurocircuits will add its logo + text ‘A PCB from www.eurocircuits.com’ in top or bottom silkscreen layers on all orders (instructions on the bottom of this page).
  • Eurocircuits logo will be published on the Team website in the partner section with a hyperlink to www.eurocircuits.com.

All BLOGs will be published on the Eurocircuits websites and on the Eurocircuits social media platforms. In the Eurocircuits Newsletter they are mentioned and linked in a dedicated section of the Newsletter. Providing a lot of exposure for the Team.

If you are looking for our logo or you want some more information about our company profile to use in the BLOG, you can find it here.

Other publicity we are interested in:

  • Eurocircuits company presentation in the partner section
  • Article about Eurocircuits and/or its services in the Team newsletter
  • Eurocircuits logo on partner poster
  • Posting news about the cooperation with Eurocircuits on the Teams social media (twitter/facebook/linkedin/etc.…)
  • The Team should like the EC social media (Facebook page, LinkedIn, …)
  • Eurocircuits is available to give a workshop to the electronics developers of the Team and their fellow electronics students
  • Eurocircuits logo on the Team clothing (t-shirt/polo/jacket)
  • Eurocircuits logo sticker on the vehicle (car/boat/motorcycle/rocket/robot/drone/product/etc.…)
  • Eurocircuits logo in press presentations
  • Mentioning Eurocircuits in Team presentations
  • Eurocircuits logo in the Team banner

Let’s have fun making electronics with future engineers.

How to use the Marking Editor found here.

The Eurocircuits logo is available as a feature and does not have to be uploaded.

So just click on it as indicated in the image on the left and the EC-logo will appear on your PCB. You can then move it to the position of your choice.EC-logo in marking editor 2
