Team Starcraft: Comeback, Anniversary and new Chapter

Comeback

The 2025 Season was a breakthrough in the history of Team Starcraft – the Formula Student Racing Team from TU Ilmenau. It started in 2017 when a fire destroyed the TSC-4E. Firstly, this was a major setback for the team. However, we accepted the challenge and engineered a car based on a new vehicle concept, and joined Formula Student events again. Unfortunately, it took us a lot of time to get the car running, due to major technical challenges and a workspace relocation.
In the season of 2025, it all came together. We not only solved the last technical issues to pass the technical inspection and got to drive the car on events again, but also managed to implement a functioning autonomous system.

This was not possible without our great supporter, Eurocircuits. Our self-developed PCBs were manufactured in high quality and delivered fast. This allowed us to rework PCBs within a single season.

Anniversary and new Chapter

This year, we are happy to celebrate our 20th anniversary. In addition to this milestone, we are starting a new chapter in our new workshop directly on the campus of our university. Because of this relocation we are focussing on development and preperation for the next season.
