Belgian Solar Car wins European Championship
iLumen European Solar Challenge 2020
The Belgian Solar Team can already call themselves world champion, but since the weekend of 18-20 September they are also the European Champion. The solar car, BluePoint, was the winner of the iLumen European Solar Challenge on Sunday 20 September at 1 pm. The highest number of laps was thanks to a fast car and a strong strategy. Even more impressive is that the Belgian Solar Team is the winner for the third year in a row, after winning in Chile in 2018 and at the World Championship in Australia in 2019.
