TIPS & TRICKS – Layer Editor – another free to use eC Smart Tool
Over the last months you may have seen a number of interesting new features which we have been adding to the PCB Visualizer. These give you more control and flexibility without having to regenerate your design outputs.
It started with the Drill/Slot editor and then we developed the Solder Paste editor, both of which have been a great success, giving you control of your data.
We thought: “Why stop there”? So, our developers didn’t, they are on a roll and continue to create more layer editing tools for you.
One of the great tools we added is how you can select and edit features quickly, next time you use the new layer editor, try holding the SHIFT key while selecting an object, this will select all the objects with the same shape as the one you have selected, using this allows you to identify and edit all identical objects with a single click.
