Sustainable PCB design:
The smart solution for electronics engineers

At Eurocircuits, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of sustainability while providing electronics engineers with first-class support.

For 33 years, we have followed a clear philosophy: to get PCB and PCBA designs right first time or manufacturing. This is the motivation to develop and continuously optimise our PCB/PCBA Visualizer – right up to virtual manufacturing before production even starts.

The Visualizer tools are an indispensable part of our approach to electronics development. They enable us to identify potential deviations as soon as we have loaded the CAD data of the PCB into our CAM system. The Visualizer tools not only highlight potential errors, but also suggest specific design changes that need to be made before production.

Cost efficiency and time savings

The advantages of this approach extend far beyond the purely technical level. Engineers save costs and valuable time by avoiding unnecessary redesigns and the associated waste. But more importantly, this approach is a sustainable way forward for hardware engineering.

For defined impedance, IMS, RF and Semi-Flex PCBs, as well as for our main services, PCB proto and STANDARD pool, we have prepared a layer stack-up and the appropriate base material. Engineers can start directly with the PCB design and realise a production-ready board in a targeted manner.

Conserve resources and avoid waste

Eurocircuits is known and praised for its very extensive range of order pooling services. More than 95% of the more than 100,000 orders per year are efficiently pooled on production panels. This allows us to maximise material efficiency for prototypes and small series and thus reduce waste.

As our DRC and DFM tools recognise and eliminate potential problems at the design stage, we avoid design changes for series production. Our smart tools give our customers the certainty that designs can be produced economically and efficiently.

PCB manufacturing is known for its high resource consumption and associated environmental impact. By continuously investing in sustainability projects, we are reducing our environmental footprint.

Eurocircuits PCB passport

Did you know that every board we supply has a passport?

The PCB passport documents that the PCBs supplied comply with the order parameters and the relevant manufacturing tolerances.

You can use this PCB passport without restriction to provide it to your customers as part of the specification for the product you are supplying.
