What is the Order Surface?

The order surface, expressed in dm², is the total surface area of the order and is calculated automatically in the PCB Calculator.

Delivery format – Single PCB

For this delivery format the Order surface is calculated on the X * Y size of single PCB multiplied by the number of PCBs ordered.

  • Board surface – the surface area of each individual PCB
  • Order surface – the total surface area of the order

Delivery format – Panel

For this delivery format the Order surface is calculated on the X * Y size of panel (including the panels boarders) multiplied by the number of panels ordered.

  • Board surface – the surface area of each individual panel including the panel boarders
  • Order surface – the total surface area of the order = Board surface * number of panels ordered
