In the heart of Belgium, at KU Leuven, a group of 20 engineering students form the Innoptus Solar Team, driven by a singular mission: to build the most innovative, reliable and fastest solar car for global competitions like the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia.

The partnership with Eurocircuits is central to their success. With Eurocircuits’ support, the team fine-tunes their motor controller, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Their motor, boasting over 98% peak efficiency, is a testament to their dedication to excellence.

Conquering the Challenge

In October 2023, the Innoptus Solar Team took on the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, a grueling 3000-kilometer race through Australia’s harsh outback. Battling scorching heat, rough roads, and tough competitors, they faced their toughest test yet.
Their secret weapons? Reliable electrical systems and an innovative car design. Despite the challenges, they pushed forward, kilometer by kilometer, fueled by determination and teamwork.

Finally, after days of intense racing, they crossed the finish line in Adelaide as champions. It was a moment of triumph, earned through hard work and perseverance.
